About iNAMi and Myeisha

The Team

“iNAMi” means LOVE in Bushman, a native Namibian language and was especially created for the local Namibian market. It aims to bring Namibia to the World and the World to Namibia through the practice of pop-up events that have the flair of an international artistic lounge.

iNAMi provides a platform for Namibian artists to present and showcase themselves, as each pop-up event is especially tailor-made so as to best represent its exhibitors and products.

While iNAMi locally creates beautiful handmade products such as handbags, accessories and art, it also imports hand-picked items such as scarves, jewellery and much more.

It is our vision to develop and grow new ideas and skills and to create objects of true beauty so that we may share these with YOU,our kindred iNAMi spirits.

We are a group of strong and independent women that are striving to make a difference by using the skills of locally talented artisans in Namibia. We individually design and handcraft beautiful fabric and leather handbags that aim for aesthetic perfection.

iNAMi handbags are made predominantly from locally sourced materials and the proceeds go to further funding the iNAMi Establishment, as well as our Trust "Especially Namibian” which was set up for empowering local women, especially in the Witvlei area. It is our aim to enable these women to empower themselves by using their talents to create and generate their own wealth and independence. Through training and skills-development we hope to create an atmosphere of flourishing ideas and inner-values made visible through quality hand-bags.

While the perfectionism that drives us aims to create objects of true elegance, the motivation for iNAMi is not only to forge beautiful handbags that every woman has ever dreamt of, but more importantly to help those in need and in so doing bring Namibia to the world and the world to NAMIBIA.
